I found this Paul Klee inspired lesson from Anne Farrell’s blog Use Your Coloured Pencils. It was a huge success.
The kids painted their paper (using rollers) at the end of the previous lesson so they could dry out properly, and started the project the following week.
The rollered orange backgrounds were a great idea – really made the pictures zing and gave a beautiful texture to work on. We used Faber Castell soft chalk pastels.
Love the hair-styles and the false eyelashes!! Age range for this group is 5-8 years.
