This year the children from both my groups have entered the annual UK Childrens Fine Art Competition The theme this year is “Family Farming”. After a shaky start and huge discussion as to what “family farming” actually is, everyone entered into the spirit of the theme. We looked at loads of examples and from these kids came up with their own ideas and compositions. These ranged from growing your own fruit and veg on an allotment to crofting in the Scottish highlands. Paint, chalk and oil pastels were the main media used. Well done everyone for their hard work and good luck!
